Who are we?

FLCSC is a group of scooter enthusiasts from around the Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda area - with a few stragglers from Napa. We're a vintage club, but won't hassle you for having something plastic fantastic (as many of our members do for commute). Come out to a meeting or event and say, "Hi!".

Head To The Hills 18 - April 26, 27, 28, 2019

Friday April 26 8:30PM - Meet 8:30PM at First & Last Chance Saloon, located at 48 Webster St, Oakland, CA 94607 (MAP IT!) for a quick drink. Ride leaves at 9:00PM for a quick jaunt through the docks and up through Berkeley before ending up at Tacos Oscar, located at 420 40th St, Oakland, CA 94609 (MAP IT!).

Saturday April 27 9:30AM - Damn right, it's the Iron Butt ride again and we're heading back to Mt. Diablo! Meet at Cole Coffee, located at 6255 College Avenue, Oakland, CA 94618 (MAP IT!) for a cup-o-joe and a pastry. Ride leaves at 10AM for a very long rip through the Berkeley and Oakland hills, and intro Castro Valley. From there we'll be running down Palomares Road in Livermore Wine Country, through Sunol, and into Pleasanton for lunch. After lunch we'll head out to the South Entrance to Mt. Diablo, up the mountain for a pit stop, then back down through the North Entrance, through Walnut Creek and the back roads of Moraga and Canyon before returning to Cole Coffee. This is an epic ride. Bring something warm for the top of the mountain. The entrance fee is $10 per vehicle. It may sound steep, but the money goes to a good cause.

Sunday April 28 9AM - Meet for breakfast at 9th Street Bakery (formerly West Side Bakery), located at 2570 9th Street, Berkeley, CA 94710 (MAP IT!). There is a chance the Cafe might be closed. If so, Caffe Chiave is on the corner of San Pablo and Dwight. Ride leaves at 10AM for a scenic 75 mile round trip through Tilden, onto Briones Regional Park, through the back roads of Martinez, and into the awesomeness that is the Warehouse Cafe, located at 5 Canyon Lake Dr, Port Costa, CA 94569 (MAP IT!), for lunch. There is also food at the haunted ex-brothel Burlington Hotel Cafe if you can get a table. The ride back will be the reverse route.
